"WOW" what a nice day!!!!!!

This morning I was able to go meet my sister and my grandpa and grandma Kelson for breakfast. They are soooo wonderful and such a great example in my life. They said they have been married for over forty years crazy how time flies. I see them getting older and it makes me sad. I need to try and be better about seeing them more often.
I have no excuse they only live about five minutes away from me. After breakfast I stopped by the nursery in Kaysville and decided to get some flowers for my yard. ( I loooveeeeee planting flowers in my yard). The lady assured me it was not to early and that they wouldn't freeze. I always thought you should wait until after Mother's Day. Any how their planted and my yard feels more like spring:)

(I've been trying to be good about keeping a blog, I don't keep a journal, and Ian said we could print all my blogs and he would make me a book so I can could read all my postings in the future.)

The Zoo......

Today was such a nice and sunny day, to good to be inside. Me and Brielle went to the zoo for fun! I had no idea it would be so crowded on a week day. I guess kids are out of school for Easter, because it sure was busy. I waited in line for 20 minutes to get tickets. Brielle loved the monkeys and the "BIG" turtles they had there. The animals were mostly outside and the only thing we didn't see was the cute Penguins they had them inside somewhere. One of the elephants is pregnant and expecting very soon:) We think nine months is long time, elephants are pregnant for 22 months. The average weight of a baby elephant when it's born is 232 pounds (yikes). It's nice because Brielle is still under two and we don't have to pay for her on most things. But next month my little baby will be turning two and flying and most other things are going to be way more expensive.

Rug Shredder.

Dang "Mo Jo", he is such a little terror. He has put bald spots on all of the rugs in my house (thank goodness for the glue gun). If I leave the bathroom door open, between him and Brielle, all the toilet paper will be all over the house. He shreds everything paper, Brielle's toys, shoes, etc. I am always missing hair bows. He is an ankle biter, and is constantly clinging to the bottom of my pants attacking me. He also waits at the top of the stairs ready to attack. He has very sharp little teeth that hurt. He drives me nuts, puppies are sooooooooo hard what heck was I thinking!!!!!!

Trip to Liberty Park.

On Saturday, we decided to go to the park and enjoy the some-what good weather before the snow this week arrived. The park was packed, I think everyone had the same idea. Brielle loves going down the slides and being pushed on the swings. They have a real nice set up there. But, it does get busy, we really have to watch Miss. Briellle because the kids push their way around her. Then we headed to get some ice cream and Brielle was soooo tired, she fell asleep while eating her ice cream cone in the car. "Mo Jo" update we got sooooooo sick of him riding behind our backs in the car, we pond him off to kinsie dog (lol). She does not seem to mind it:)

Road Trip To Kanab UT!

We decided to join Ian's parents on a last minute trip to Kanab, to go out seaching for hidden treasure (rocks). The weather was wonderful it was good to be outside hiking around. Brielle had a lot of fun walking up and down the sand hills collecting rocks. Brielle did a great job on keeping tabs on everyone esp. "PA PA". We found a lot of good rocks, tons of Indian pottery, and petrafied wood. Karen got stung by a scorpion... pretty scary, and John wandered into some strangers hotel room and sat on their bed(lets just say that when the woman came out of the bathroom in her nighty, she was surprised, and when the husband walking in on both of them, he was even more surprised.) We stayed at a really nice hotel that had a indoor swimming pool. Brielle had a lot of fun splashing in the water. The Old ghost Town in the picture is actually a movie set for a bunch of old western movies including a John Wayne Movie and Gun Smoke. Brielle did really good in the car, she slept most of the way home and Karen brought her laptop that she could watch movies on. We had fun and it was nice for Ian to have a three day weekend. Thanks John and Karen for inviting us we sure love you guys:)
