Happy Fathers Day! Dad, Ian, John, Grandpa. You guys are amazing! Esp. Ian, You are an amazing father. Since the day Brielle was born you and her have had such an amazing bond together. She is a definite daddy's girl. You have been so supportive in raising our little girl, you help with everything: with bath time, to getting up in the night, changing diapers, watching her when I need "me time", taking her to dance class filled with girls and never once have you ever complained. You smother her in kisses and hugs everyday and she just lights up whenever she sees you. I am sooooooooo lucky to have such a wonderful husband and father figure for Brielle. I feel so blessed to have my little family. I love you Ian.

Smith and Morehouse camping trip.

On Friday, after Ian got off work, we got packed and headed up to Smith and Morehouse Reservoir. We met up with Danny, Sam and his wife, Trish and Cody and a bunch of their friends and family. They had eight trailers up there. We didn't get up there until 9:30pm - just in time for the campfire (My first campfire of the the summer (pretty sad)). We had tons of marshmallows - I had to make up for the s'mores I've missed out on. And let just say it was cold!! I kept getting closer and closer to the fire, Danny was having a hard time keeping the fire going strong, the wood was kind-of wet, we had to pop out the gasoline. Brielle had fun! She loved collecting all the pine cones. I was a nervous wreck with her around the fire, but she did good. She ended up falling asleep in my lap around 10:30ish (early for her). I was worried about her being cold so she had on pj's plus a sleeper plus a coat and beanie she even slept in her coat and beanie. It's is really pretty up there especially with everything being so green. But...unfortunately it started to rain late morning so we went on a quick hike to the lake and cut our trip short and headed home early. I hate this rain I hope it doesn't rain over the 4th.

Christmas Carol....
Today in Ogden, Disney was having a promotion for their up comming movie, "The Christmas Carol". They had a special screening going on and different booths outside. The train that had all the memorabilia for the movie was there. The line was 3 hours long so we did not go on the train, but some lady gave us her tickets to go see the screening. It looks amazing in 3-d.

Big Girl Bed!!!!
Last Friday I set up a big girl bed in Brielle's room. She has been in our room since day one. She has slept in between us for about a year and a half and then recently slept in her pack n play next to the bed. Well, as you know, Brielle is a little night owl, who does not like to go to bed until at least 10:30-11 the earliest. So, friday we tried out her big girl bed. She fell alsleep in our bed first, then we put her sneakily into her bed and she slept the whole night. We checked on her a few times and she rolled off her bed a few times onto the floor. Even if I wedge her in there with blankets she still manages to fall off. Ian awoke to Brielle huffing and puffing with fear at 4:30 am, Back into the bed again with mommy and daddy (were softies).

The fun bus to Wendover!!!!
Later Saturday we met up with our friends Sam and Laura. We caught the fun-bus in Salt Lake and headed to good ol' Wendover (first time for Ian and I). You would imagine the fun-bus filled with old people, but there was only a handful of old people, the rest were young people. They serve you drinks(soda) and play bingo for money and for payday candy bars. None of us got bingo. I, of course, had to go the bathroom, and let me tell you, it is quite a challenge. The bathroom is quite small and it is so hard to keep your balance. I bet people have fallen in the toilet.
The bus is actually a great deal. It's $15 per person and they give coupons for a free dinner buffet (24.95 per person value), and 5 dollars in cash. I guess they figure you will spend double that in the casinos. They were having the Harley rider fundraiser for MDA(free Survivor concert/thousands of harley riders in town etc ). Ian and I are thinking that when we are old and retired, we are probably going to be a couple of those leather clad Harley couples-HA!. We played some slots for a little while and then went and danced to some random band that was playing(it was sooo dang funny watching all the drunk people dancing). Then we went and hit the pool tables and Ian realize we didn't have our camera. We quickly headed up stairs re- tracing our steps franticly. We checked the bar (only place to get a soda or drink unless you are gambling at the tables) and asked the bar tender if he had seen a small black camera bag and he said "wait, you mean a visa card" and Ian said "no" not realizing he had left that too. Luckily, he said that he called security and they locked it up downstairs. Wow! That was relief. I thought for sure we would be camera-less. So we had a bit of luck on our side. Sam was on the BlackJack table all night (his wife Laura was a great sport)- luckily he ended up. We were up on the slots and then ended up being a little down (not bad though). Sam was in such a gambling mood that he almost missed the bus- Poor Laura had to go looking for him. We ended up leaving at 2.a.m, and lets just say that we were all tired, but the bus was a freaking ice chest. I was sooooo dang cold. I kept moving from side to side and couldn't get comfortable. What's worse... the person next to me was snoring super loud!!!! It was a horrible ride home. We finally got home around 5 luckily my mom had Brielle and we were able to sleep in until noon.
