Yellowstone.

We figured this was our last weekend to do something before summer is over. We leave next week on vacation and won't be back until the 11th. I am so sad summer is on the down hill. On our drive to Yellowstone we saw leafs starting to change colors, and it got pretty cold at night time. Let's just say, it was way to short of a trip for all the driving you do, I would of preferred one more day in between driving. But once you get out there it makes it worth the drive. It was so pretty out there the scenery is amazing and it is awesome to see the wild life in their normal nature settings. We saw lots of animal's but no bears:(. Ian is such a bear lover, I would be really worried if we were to see one. He probably would try and jump on it's back or something and I would be driving home husband less lol! We stayed in a place called Moose Lodge in West Yellow Stone. It is a cool little town it reminds me of the town in Jackson hole. Brielle still didn't feel well on and off through out the trip. She did amazing for a toddler on the LONG drive though. We only brought one dvd for her to watch in the car. Poor girl pretty much has the movie memorized and we are so sick of hearing it.

Kangaroo Zoo again.

On friday I decided to go to Kangaroo Zoo again. I thought it would be a good place to get some of Brielle's energy out. Man I wish I had the energy of a 2 year old or even any toddler. I would get soooooo much done in a day. She is funny, she has to turn around every time she's ready to go down a slide and go on her stomach. She starting to get more independent and do stuff more on her own. Except she like's me to carry her everywhere, she'll stand right in front of me and say hold you, hold you and of course I hold her. I don't know if it's toddlers in general or just brielle but, she will go from really liking something to hating something. She used to LOVE bath time and now she hates it she cries everytime I put her in lately.

Didn't get any sleep last night....

Last night was sooooooo horrible, Ian and I went and saw district 9. We dropped Brielle off at Ian's parents house (thank you for watching her), and headed to the movie. We parked and then realized -no wallet. I left my wallet at Ian's parents house in my diaper bag. We were already late so we couldn't go get it (and the next movie was two hours later). I've been forgetting a lot of stuff lately. I swear I pull out of my driveway and have to pull right back in because I forgot something. I never used to. I guess it's my age lol! Luckily the lady at the ticket booth let us just tell her our card number instead. The movie was really good! Afterwards we headed to go get Brielle and of course Brielle was wide awake at 11:30p.m.. She is such a night owl. We noticed her nose was stuffy. As moms know, a toddler with a cold is the worse. We went to Smith's to see if I could find any cold medicine and EVERYTHING is for 6 and older! I know they have their reasons for pulling the cold medicines for younger children off the counter, but man, they need something. They just suffer, and a baby with a cold means no sleep. And no sleep we got. She's funny she will sit and say nose, nose and want us to wipe it for her.

12 days and counting.

We are officially on the count down. Only 12 days until Costa Rica. It's crazy it's already here. I've been a little scared about taking Brielle out of the country. It sunk in when I got her passport a coupe weeks ago. We hope she does well on the plane ride. A hyper 2 year old can make for an interesting flight. Can we say Benadryl... that might have to be an option, but I've been told it makes some kids hyper and we DO NOT WANT THAT!! (lol). We are bringing her a dvd player and some small things but if anyone has any ideas let me know. Today was a little drama, Ian and I must have told my mom and my sister the wrong dates so today when Ian was trying to make sure we were sitting together, he found out my sister was scheduled to leave a day early, and my mom took off one day short off of work. Oh man, but they got it fixed today, good thing we called or we would of been in for a surprise. I guess I'm going through last minute stressing. But it brings peace to mind that I have been there before and there's tons of americans where we are going and I felt safe when I was there. Ian is on his Costa Rica kick again. He has been listening to his songs about being stuck at a eight to five job, and thinking about ways for us to either move out there or some how get property out there. He is also checking the surf reports daily(since June). It's the days you wish you were really, really, rich and could just live it up every day. I am starting to get excited... as many of us can say, I am in need of a vacation. I asked my dad to watch Mo-Jo for me and I hope he is not to horrible. Maybe they will bond and he'll say he can't live without him and want to take him.. lol! yeah right. He'll be knocking on our door as soon as we get home. I hate packing. I'll probably pack the night before and get there and have forgotten 10 things, it happens every time. My mom on the other hand has probably already been packed for a month now.

My little singer!

Kangaroo Zoo.

Yesterday, Brielle and I met up with Laurie and Kennedy again and headed down to bountiful to the new Kangaroo Zoo. It was fun! But a work out too, carrying the girls up and down the different slides got tiring. It was funny to see them bouncing around like two drunks. Brielle was a little dare devil and went down the biggest slide there by herself.

Davis County Fair!

They also road little air planes, kennedy at the end was a little scared. The pony's were funny too. We waited in line for 20 minutes for a two second ride lol. They had fun though.
